Prior to mowing, the turf areas will be policed for trash, tree limbs or obstructions. Turf will then be mowed completely and evenly at a height most suitable for the species
and the site's specific needs (on average 3 to 31/2 inches). Clippings are not bagged unless specified and is subject to added costs for bagging time and removal to dump.
Turf grass research has shown that by using proper mowers, it is better to return clippings to the turf for nutritional replenishment. This process is great
for you lawn and it is a tremendous help to our enviroment.
All trimming is performed with string trimmers and trimmed to the height of the adjacent mowed turf. Grassed areas will receive trimming to all edges that border
it's perimeter, such as driveways, sidewalks, garden areas, and buildings. Trimming is also preformed in any area that is not reachable by mowers to keep turf and
property neat in appearance.
Leaf blowers are used to clean off any areas where grass clippings are not wanted or will not bio degrade properly. Blowers will be used in the fall season to help
clean up fallen leaves.
Leaf removal is done either in the spring or fall. Fall leaf removal is done automatically and is charged the same as a lawn cutting, except for a charge to take
collected materials to the dump. Spring leaf removal is charged based on amount of times require to get the results requested.

A machine with rotating blades penetrates the turf, removing thatch and aerating, while dropping grass seed into the newly opened trenches.
Seeding in this manner opens the soil for air and water penetration and gives the seed direct contact with the soil.
This greatly increases seed germination. Certified seed is always used. A thick lawn is the best defense against weeds.

Gardens will have unwanted green materials removed prior to roto tilling the beds with a small tiller. Garden edges will be cut with a spade and the ground elevated
to provide a smooth edge. Mulching can be added at the client's request. Garden work is charged by the man-hour plus materials.

All of our fertilizer programs are designed to fix problems that are in the soil. We soil tests to identify these problems, and the amount of produce to apply. The result is a lawn that will thrive in all conditions with little or no weed pressures.
We also offer the same programs using commercial fertilizer instead of organic. This can sometimes be more cost effective on some properties. These programs can produce the same results that the organic programs do.

Our equipment can trim bushes and hedges up to 15 feet without ladders. With ladders we can trim up to 30 feet high and 10 feet wide.
We remove all trimmings and clean up trimmed area before leaving.

Driveways are cleared after a snow fall of 5 cm or more using plows and/or snow blowers. Front walk clearing is included in all our quote prices.
